Ive read many posts on this forum but this is my first post and I need some help. I found a few knives at a yard sale and one that I found has no identification markings. I picked it up for $5 so it may just be something crappy (although I paid $1 for a Ka-bar dog's head once out of a grab bag at a garage sale) , but I would still like to know the manufacturer/maker, type of steel, etc so I can catalog it for my collection. Can some please help me with this?
The blade is 4" long and the knife has some good weight behind it, also on the spine is some sort of serration but its not beveled to an edge. The handle seems to be bone but Im not sure. please help.

You mean like this one? It is currently being sold as "Ultimate Bone Collector Series Hand-Made Damascus Gut-Hook Blade Hunting Knife". It is probably imported from India or Pakistan, sources for inexpensive damascus steel.

Those aren't serrations but "jimping", which is wholly decorative.

You can find your knife for sale if you type "bone collector knife" in Amazon. The strange thing is that the ones with jimping sell in the low $30's but the ones without jimping is selling in the low $60s.

Wow thanks for the quick response. After further investigation of the name you provided it seems its imported from pakistan and sold under an american label (a lot of pissed off reviews about it actually) O well just another blade for the bottom drawer collection. To be honest since it had no markings and looked pretty cool, I would be lying if I didnt say it felt like I was reeling in a big fish only to realize now its just an old tire. But, for 5$ that 84% off amazons price so ill take that deal for an interesting looking knife to show my friends that arent enthusiasts (those who buy Winchester bowies from walmart for $20 cuz they LOOK nasty) Thanks again. Side note, with all the knowledge I found on these pages I feel kind of schmuckish for even wasting thread space on this piece.
