I have a damascus skinner that has stamped on the blade near the handle junction the capital letter "F" with a very small cross next to it. Any idea who's mark this might be? You can make out the faint mark in the picture of the blade when enlarged. The bolsters on each end of the handle apprear to be blued steel and there is a window breaker nub on the butt end of the handle. Any help is appreciated.
Also, what would you call this Damascus Pattern? I'm thinking some sort of Viking Serpentine but definately not an expert in style of damascus blades.
