My stepdad gifted this to my mom for self-defense purposes and I love the style of it. I'd love to buy one for myself. There's no markings on it besides a spot on the base of the blade where it says it was made in China. Thanks in advance.

There are quite a few models like that around! Gerber, Artisan,Olamic etc! My favorite is:IMG_20200427_171615.jpg

Welcome to Bladeforums MJ.

Gas station knife. Even Mtechs usually have Mtech printed on them.

Quite a few cleaver style out knives out there like J jfk1110 said. I'll link a few from BHQ for easy reference.

FYI, I'd skip a Gerber Flatiron in 7Cr7MoV steel and get the CJRB for about the same price. You'd get better steel with the CJRB.

Feel free to give us a price range and we'll offer up some suggestions if you'd like.

I figured it was cheap but I just got word from my stepdad that he'd be looking for another one for me. Thank you for the suggestions, I'm a big fan of CJRB knives. :)
