Need help identifying axe head.

A guy at work brought me this hoping I would know something about it, because all knife guys know axes too right? Well not this knife guy. So I'm hoping you all could help. I don't know if this is a relic or a recent axe that's just been left outside.



 
UNICO premium. I think it's probably a decent quality vintage axe that will make a good user.

Way to go on the ID Steve! There are lots of miles on this baby (worn toes from countless sharpenings) but it has not been abused and there are generous temper lines. It's worth getting back on the road and being taken around the block some more.

I believe his intent is to restore it. I think he'll use it, at least that is what he's done with the last couple he's done.
