Need help identifying grandpas knife

I have a old fixed blade knife with a 4 inch blade that has a mountain and pickaxe towards the very bottom. There is letters on the other side but all I can make out is a C. It has a white handle that has the pattern of birch bark. Any help would be appreciated

I examined it under bright light it's A PIC knife apparently they where imported from Germany and japan

PIC = Precise International Corp. in Suffern, NY. PIC didn't make knives, they imported knives made in various parts of the world, including Japan and Germany, from the mid 1960s through the 1980s or so.
What the knife actually is, we'll never know without pictures....
