So I was fixing up some of the older blades I inherited from my Grandfather, and I found a knife I could not identify at first, it had been polished so the markings were so faint I had a hard time noticing they were there but after shining a light I saw indentations
"Vernco Hi-CV Japan" On google I found it being called a "Hunter" model of sorts

The knife I have is the Large Fixed Blade knife - I am trying to find out any information on it that I can, mainly what kind of steel was used, and what the handle is made of.
I want to fix this up and possibly have it etched soon. Seems like a decent solid vintage knife in great condition (scratches on steel but no rust and the tip is not dulled)
I'll try and get some pictures of my own posted if anyone wants me to.
