My father in law picked this set of knives up at a pawn shop in Alabama. He has never seen this symbol on a knife, nor has anyone he knows. I thought surely one of you guys would know. Here are a couple of pics, the knives also came with some decent leather sheaths and they have a nice heavy feel. Thanks for any help.

Check out the Bernard levine forum in General Knife Discussion. He might be able to help you more than most of us could.

If it is really important, Levine himself will check it out, for a fee of course. Look here.

He only gave $20.00 for the set, so I know he wouldn't pay $50 (25 per knife) to have them looked at. It's really not THAT big of a deal. I was just trying to score a few inlaw points. Thaks for the info though, might be worth it on some old stuff.

There is always the chance that he will see your post in the forum and answer your question free. ;)
