need help identifying knife

my name is Brian I was given this knife as a gift a while ago. it was purchased in the navajo nation. was told it was hand made. Is is very beautiful but I dont know much about it. Any help would be appreciated.

also if someone might like to know what its worth.

Looks to be a pre-manufactured blade, with handle attached and carved. Most likely junk steel, possibly not even hardened, built for tourist sales. Poor design for a user blade in my opinion. Questions on pricing are by rules allowed only for paying members.
