I have had this knife for about 40 years but have not until recently wanted to know what it is. I know that it is U.S. Camillus because it says that on the blade. I also know that is WWII or earlier because of the handle, pommel, and square tang visible on the butt of the pommel. It differs from most collections that I have seen because the guard is bent up on one side and down on the other. Every one I have seen has a straight guard. I will post some pictures as soon as I learn how to do that.
