Need help identifying sword - Mc Lilley

The sword has an ivory handle and is marked McLilley - Columbus, Ohio. Can anyone tell me about the company/sword/value. It has Christian markings on it along with some latin phrases. It is a beautiful sword with a brass handle and scabard. Thanks, Rich
 
Rich,
Your sword is what's called a "society sword", made for the Knights of Columbus or a similar religious organization. Here is a link to several pages on the M.C. Lilley Co. and society swords.
