I was given this knife by my mother who claimed it was her father's but I have my doubts about that for a variety of reasons.
I think it's Frost Cutlery but am unsure. Can anyone tell the approximate age of the knife? Or any other relevant info.
Thanks so much to anyone reading. I see you and appreciate it.

Moving this to the Traditional Forum.

The tang markings do not look like those of an older knife.

Thank you knarfeng. Here are links to bigger pics of needed for reference.

When you say not older what decade do you roughly put this in?
The knife would have to be 60s or 70s likely to have a chance of being my Grandfathers.

Knife is late 80's - mid 90's. Frost Cutlery has been around since the 70's, but the weren't really using that Pakkawood style till the late 80's, and by the mid - late 90's they moved on to much cheaper sources.
Thank you titt. I appreciate the info a ton. Cheers.

Frost has been making knife shaped objects since at least the late 1950's. Growing up in the 1960's FROST was a brand to avoid ... if you wanted a knife that would take and hold an edge, and wouldn't go all lucy goosy sharpening a Crayola for the teacher.

Lolz. Should I send this sentence to their advertising department as a possible new tagline? That definitely made me laugh hard.
