Acquired this online but I have no idea where, when, what it is. No marks at all on the knife.

Blade measures 6 1/4" long, Total length is 12 1/4", Quillon width is 2 5/8"

Handle is round and has a slight curve to it

I an sure that many of us would like to see the blade in question,

..however, many of us are unable to view images uploaded to photobucket, due to thier recent shenannigans.

I suggest you upload to Postimages.org and embed the links using that icon with the mountain and sun, seen above your post in progress.

To me it looks like it was made from some sort of Sabre and the a sheath from some sort of slim bladed production knife.
I don't know if this could be some sort of theater knife, but it doesn't scream pakistan to me anyways.

It does kind of appear to have been ground from a saber blade. It's almost certainly a home-made knife. Doubt it's Pakistani.......

It also sort of looks like someone may have shined it up recently, based on the condition of the leather relative to the condition of the blade.

KnifeCrafters of Pennsylvania WWII era fighting knife in nice shape. Hang on to it, they're wanted, and worth good money.

They were made from recycled sword blades, so that explains the odd shape to the blade.

Yes old sabers were plentiful and cheap. Many where cut into sections and repurposed into fighting knives. Some of those blades go back to the Civil War. Cleaning up an old piece like that usually drops the value of the knife. Like they say "the road to ruin is paved with good intentions".
