I recently bought this a couple of days ago when I was new to the whole knife thing. I didn't understand the whole heat treating process so I thought 440c made it a good knife.

It is one of the sharpest blades I have, the guy sharpening this must have had 2 cups of coffee or the boss was looking over his shoulder.

Anyway I recently found out that this company steals a lot of designs and since I like this knife a lot I want to buy it from the company that makes it.

This looks like a SOG access card 2.0 handle, mixed with a ka-bar dozier drop-point blade. Its not a specific knife.

the blade and thumbstud look sebenza-esque.

overall, it doens't look like a ripoff to me. of course, there are quite a few brands im not real familiar with.

Thank you. Its nice to see someone accidentally buying a copy and wanting to buy the original. Rather then the other way around.

It's not that bad, but it was clearly inspired by this:

SOG Access Card 2.0

The thing is, the inspired version looks thicker and probably different enough to the SOG Access Card that it also cuts differently. If you like the fake version so much, you might be disappointed by the thinner "original". But your good intention is noted, and I applaud you.
