I live on the east coast by the Pocomoke River. There's a old sort of collections store with tons of things from decor, gutiars, movies, vynls, kitchen appliances etc. So long story short I bought this rather large knife just because I love collecting and the design on it was pretty dope. It was $8 and I've tried so hard researching it but come to no leads. All I can read is vaugely "CHIRAWAY" the letter m and "CUTLERY" for sure. The logo with the brand around it looks to me like a Indian Cheif? It has "surgical steel" and "Pakistan" printed of the other side. If someone knows something or can help, please and thank you!

I tried to upload pictures but I can't from my phone which really made this site kinda lame to me. I have pictures but have no clue how to add.

Not the best pictures but it's really hard to get a decent one without the flash

Looks like standard Pakistani fare i.e a wallhanger but take a picture outside in daylight to make sure. Dont use the flash.
Doesnt look like you have much of a user knife, Im sorry to say.

at least it's some type of damascus, which is cool even if it's from Pakistan
use it, sharpen it, see if the edge holds up at all... the most common criticism of Pakistani steel is that it's 'pot metal', ie, poor quality, low hardness, unknown & unspecified composition

I only bought it to just have, too large of a knife for me to legally carry it where I live lol. Is it of any value? If not I'll just put it in the case of cool useless knives I have put away. But if it is of value of some sort, I wouldn't mind fixing it up and putting it in the display case.

With your current membership, you cant as for knife values.
If these rules were not in situ, the site would be saturated with people asking for values and not paticipating in the debates here.
Suffice it to say, that you can most likely count yourself lucky that you didnt pay more than 8 bucks.

Save some money and check out the exchange here. Youd b better off buyng for example a second hand Spyderco. They are most excellent value for money.

I'm sorry but I didn't mean cost value. I meant more 'historical' value. Like age and stuff like that.
