Need Help IDing a Knife

I recently bumped into a guy with a rather unique knife I am interested in. It is a small fighting knife that he said only two companies made. I cannot remember the names except I think one company had 'pit' in the name.

Anyways, the knife sort of resembles a kerambit. It is designed for raking. It has a normal though stubby curved blade except it is single edged on the interior portion of the curve. The blade was about 3 inches. It does not have the kerambit's finger hole. The grip is designed for full fist grip, blade down, with the curve towards you, so with the edge towards you. It is used in a raking method.

Any help IDing it would be appreciated.

Pictures, as always, are good. Not only is it easier to ID the knife, but it will help with trademarks, and design cues that point to a maker.

Also, we like knife porn...

Possibly draw it out?

I know you said it didn't have a finger hole, but the only thing similar to a Karambit that comes to mind is a: Krudo Snag

Sorry, should have specified up front, fixed blade. Not any of the ones mentioned. Here is a very rough sketch, shaded area is the blade.

You are describing a Pikal/Pakal knife, which is a specialized knife used for ice-pick grip & reverse-edge techniques as taught in Filiippino martial arts. Rather than stabbing or slashing, you pull the knife towards yourself in order to "rip" your opponent to systematically destroy his/her ability to attack/defend against you. This can be devastating because you use your opponent's own momemtum to cause damage since he/she will reflexively pull-away whenever struck. If you do a search using either of these words, you will find examples of what you are asking about.

If you want a custom maker here on BFC, go take a look at Ban Tang's offerings, he runs a sub forum in the Hosted Knifemakers Forum area.

If you don't want to pay that kind of scratch for a custom, the Spyderco P'Kal (pictured above) is a very well-made and affordable option.

You guys rock, I think indeed this is the knife I saw. I believe one of the two knife companies he mentioned was Ban Tang. The other is likely something-'pik' like you guys suggested. I appreciate everyone's help, I knew this was the right place to ask the question.

Gonna see if I can buy one w/o breaking the bank.
