I got this watch while in Kosovo a few years ago and seeing all the watch gurus here I thought this would be the place to ask"what kind of Seiko do I have?"
It's all metal(stainless) with a light blue face-no numbers, just raised gold squares. It has the date. Auto winding by shaking it. On the face under the 12 o'clock position is the word Seiko, under that is the number 5 in a superman "S" shaped box. Under the place where the hands move are the words "crystal" in cursive writing then under tha are three stars then the words "25 Jewels". And on the very bottom under 6 o'clock is writen "swiss movt"
On the back along with the normal Seiko, water resitant are some numbers, the first is:2031-3494007, and the second set of numbers are:977552.
I hope this helps, like I said I got it while in Kosovo, I don't know how old it is, I will try to post a picture as I know that will help more than my writen account of what it looks like. Thanks for your help in advance. Dean

Hi Fallschrimjager, from your discription, looks like the watch is from the Seiko 5 range. Seiko 5s come in many faces and bracelets but if I'm not mistaken only metal bracelets and one "head/face" size. Basically mass production in variety for export from Japan.
Thats all I can muster. Hope this helps,

Regards Bernard
