While going through my late daddy's footlockers of WW-II memorabilia, I found a large folding knife. It folds like a pocket knife but the blade is a "hawk bill" It's heavy and the handle looks like it's made of polished bone.

Daddy was in Italy and the N.African theater, Army Air Corps. Since there is an old Nazi flag in the same footlocker, I wonder if this could be German made.

Thanks for any help and insight

Welcome to BF.C! I'm pretty sure that someone will be able to help you find out more about the knife. To help things along I'm going to move this to the Blade Discussion Forum where it will get more exposure.

Perhaps a pruning knife like this Case model 61011.
