Greetings all,
There is some disagreement over the lyrics in a song from the old Fig Newton commercial.
Here's the beginning:
"Ooey gooey rich and chewy inside,"
Now what is the line that follows this?

Please help resolve this crushing argument!

ooey gooey rich and chewy inside
golden cakie flakey outside
mix the inside with the outside
it's a good darn tootin'
it's a big fig newton...

here comes the tricky part
the big fig newtooooooooon

This is from the Simpson's, but TV can't lie so I believe this is right. :D

What do I win?

Thanks for clearing this up, I'm going to go pout in the corner.

Got this from a web site called Favorite Commercials.

fig newton
Do you remember the commercial where the big fig walks out from stage left and looks over and says "hit it Al" then he begins to dance and sing his little dittie " ooie gooie rich and chewy inside, tender flaky golden cakey outside. ya wrap the inside in the outside your a darn tootin, the big fig newton" then i believe he hangs his head and walks off stage

Here's a link to it.

I believe you are all wrong.
the lyrics would go like this.
Ooey Goey, rich and chewy inside.
Golden cakey, tender flakey outside.
Wrap the inside in the outside.
Is it good?
Darn tootin!
It's the big, Fig Newton! =]

You think you are pissed? My one opportunity in life to be helpful, and you run and ask someone else.
