I am looking for some advice on selecting a new knife.
I am looking for a fixed blade with a blade lenght around 4 inches. The knife should be able to withstand any use and abuse i can throw at it. I want it to be possible to cut, pry, stab and hack without the possibility of breaking.
I would like a large confortable unbreakable handle.
I would like it to be equipped with a kydex sheath that can be worn IWB.
has anyone some good advice?

busse badger attack! approx.: $300-$350 at the exchange. 5" blade. very rugged!!! full tang, micarta or g-10 scales. you can even baton quite well with it!

A Dumpster Mutt fits your criteria pretty well. I highly doubt that you would be able over-abuse one of those.

No knife fits your criterion. ALL suffer the possibility of breakage.

The Busse recommendation sounds good. So would a Ranger RD4, an Ontario RAT-5, a Scrapyard 6", and a Buck Vanguard or Alpha Hunter, and many others.

My recommendation would be to go to DLTtradingcompany.com or knivesshipfree.com and look at the knives from Bark River Knife and Tool. The Aurora, Northstar, Bravo-1 (tough![and with Kydex]), Highland Special, Fox River, Sandstorm, Montana Guide, Hunstman, and more all more-or-less fit your bill.

A Ranger RD-4, Busse Active Duty, or Busse Leaner Meaner all have warranties second to none and will handle whatever you throw at them. Scrap Yard and Swamp Rat knives are great blades, part of the Busse family, and also have the same warranty so check them out as well.
