I have a relatively old handmade knife made in the north-west regions of Pakistan that has been passed down to me over the generations. It seems to be a Khyber knife as seen from its design. I have attached several pictures of it along with it's case (apologize for the low-quality pics). The case had been damaged long ago which is why it has been taped-up, the case is made of an outer layer of brass or similar metal, whereas the inside of the case is wood. The blade is made of steel and the handle of bone. I would appreciate someone more knowledgeable than myself to estimate what it's value might be, as well as whether restoring it by removing the rust would increase it's value or not. Thanks.
