Hello everyone....I had an American template maker saved on my ebay page but somehow I deleted him and have spent hours searching through thousands of leathercraft tool listings in hopes of finding them.

They make high quality thick plastic templates for various leather patterns such as Ranger belts, belt ends, stitching patterns, knife cases, challenge coin cases, quitar straps etc.

The one thing I do remember is that he stresses that the templates are robust enough that you can cut right around them unlike the flimsy Tandy ones...also the stitching guide is made for use with the standard Tandy awl.

Any help I.D.ing this maker seller would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jim Ziegler

I have gotten some from Black River Laser @ 6224 Lake Ave., Elyria, OH 44035. The contact person there is Joyce Roberts. I use the dickens out of them.
Best regards,

Claude.....Man that was fast....7 minutes and you nailed it! That is exactly who I was searching for. It looks like they are down until 3 March due to extreme cold and not being able to get their shop above 58 degrees in their Northern Ohio shop.

I just can't pass up the chance to tease our "southern cousins" in balmy Ohio. I was out walking the dog in 22 below,(wind chill-35) the other evening. Our fishing village Port Stanley is on the North shore of Lake Erie which is now frozen over for the first time in years. This means I could snowmobile across to their shop in Ohio.

Thanks again Claude...I should have come here first.

Jim
