This is from the wife of slewis36. I need help locating a portable oxygen concentrator. My husband has had congestive heart failure for the last 12 years due to a virus that attacked his heart. In the last month, his health has taken a serious turn for the worst. For the first time since the onset of his illness, he has to be on O2 around the clock. His one remaining dream, (other than a cure) is to hear the wolves howling in the wild. If we do not get a good report from his doctor, I want to do everything I can to make that dream come true. In order to do this, I need to have a portable O2 concentrator, preferably used. We don't have a money tree in our backyard, but I really want to do this for him. We have a large concentrator for the house and some travel-size tanks, but the trip will take several days. If we had a portable, battery-operated concentrator, we could use rechargable batteries & solar recharger. Any information would be appreciated.
This may not be a knife problem, but it is a survival problem. Please understand that in no way are we asking for anything other than help in locating a portable , battery concentrator. I saw one in Cortez, Co. when I had to drive my step-son out there. A lady working at Wally World had a purse size concentrator that ran on 10 D-cell batteries. That was in 1990. That is what I am trying to locate now. My wife wants to take me to hear the wolves, and as much as I would enjoy that, I am more concerned with a long power failour. With a battery powered concentrator, rechargeable batteries, and a solar recharger, I am good to go no matter what happins. Knife Knuts are all over, and in all professions. Thank you,,slewis36
