need help making a choice .

First time never done this before . I have a lot of knives but seen a youtube video with a guy trying to destroy a Busse Battle Mistress man was i impressed . I'm not sure where to start . I live near Atlanta so I do plan on going to the Blade Show . What would be a good starter Busse and the best place to get it ?
 
You answered your own question. Wait till Blade and pic one up there. You get to handle all the knives before you buy them.
 
Nah...don't listen to gimmejr. If you wait til blade, you may not end up with anything due to the obscene rush of aged pork to utterly destroy the trough. Seriously...Blade will be CRAZY!!! Use it as a great opportunity to meet people and become part of the family, but if you don't strike hard, fast and early, you may end up starving at the end of the whole experience. ;)
 
yeah its like a mix of the stock exchange and day after thanksgiving shopping you have to scream for it, jump for it, snatch for it. i was intimidated until a cardboard sheath bounced off my head then i got in there and got my jackhammer. good times. last year (my first) the table was in the middle of the show and it was like everyone else was wondering why we were all fighting, and what the yelling was about. good times. since then my collection grew to 7 then sold one on exchange to get my grail MOFBM
 
I'd wait till blade if I were you. Even if you dont score like GatMan says, there will always be BM's on the exchange, and probably more of them after blade so people can pay off their credit cards.

Hold out and you stand a chance to save yourself around $100.

Then, aim for your fav.

There is always a great selection of Busse knives for sale on the exchange....
No need to wait for BLADE if you need to satisfy your INFI fix now!!

Truthfully...you WILL get something at Blade, but you will have to be slick, strong, and absolutely without fear. Really, you would have a fantastic time there, but you might as well get started now.

Welcome to our Madness!! You should definitely come to Blade, but be aware that that not all Busse models will be there. There will be a LOT of Custom Shop variants. The last two years have seen dated Special Editions. And Jerry can be counted on to surprise us with something. Explore this forum, read the stickies, check out the picture thread, visit bussecollector.com. Think about size knife you want or need, then come back and ask again.
 
Man I've spent the better part of the day looking at all the models and variations (Didn't get much work done today). Way to many choices I think I'm just going to pull the trigger and go from there .
 
Well I did it . I finally made a decision . Kinda I just send the money . I bought NMSFNOLE , SFNOLE , ASH-1 LE , and a Hack all in TigerHide Plus a real cool set of 1911 Grips . I'm like my kids on Christmas Morning . It already feels like I'm hooked on CRACK . I'm still looking at every BM I really like them . I don't know if I buy more now or wait till I actually recieve them in the mail . I think I'm in trouble !!!
