Need Help on a Kershaw Knife

I'm trying to find out about this knife I just got. I doubt it's anything terribly special, but I like to know the details of things. It's a Kershaw liner lock... 3" blade (4" closed). Stainless Steel handle... wood inlay. Raybestos' logo is carved in the wood. I'm assuming it's about ten or so years old. Does anybody know anything about this? Was it a special promotional run for Raybestos, etc.? Again, I'm sure the knife is nothing to necessarily write home about... I mean, I've been using it to cut fishing line and break down boxes. Big deal. But I'd just like to learn the history behind it. Thanks for any help.

Wow. You've got a rare Reybestos Kershaw. They go for about $10,000.00 on the collector's market.

No really, I know nothing of your knife.

Welcome to Bladeforums. :)

I'm not familiar with the knife, in fact, I'm not sure which Kershaw model it might be based on, from your description. But any knife company can put out special editions on demand.

Maybe someone else has heard of this one.

Here's the best picture I've got. Not much help, I'm sure. And oh yeah, I'll bet it's very, very rare... at LEAST $10,000 rare. ;) I'd just like to learn a bit of history about it. That's all.

That looks like a back lock. Not a liner lock. The picture is pretty small, but it looks a lot like one we sell at my store. Goes for about $60 or so new.
