I just got the kulgera in the post today.:)

But unfortunaly it is very tight. Can not flick it open with one hand. It opens slowly. Is it that i has to youse it and it will be fine after some time and were?
Ore is it the piwiot screw who is tighten to much?

Ned some advise. Thanks

My Benchmades (when new) have varied from the box. A few would flick right open and snap into place, a few needed some flicking before they 'loosened' up a bit. I have read that some folks have received them so tight that they have had to adjust the pivot screw, I've never gone that route, but you never know.
Cheers, and enjoy that Kukgera, it's a mighty pretty knife,
Russel

Kulgera is a pretty small knife, so it probably should not be as easily flippable as bigger ones with heavier blades. Yes, the size does not make it impossible. I have got Kershaw Mini Junkyard Dog which is just an excellent flipper, but it was specially designed and adjusted to be so. And my BM Nagarra is another fine example. But that is probably just by chance rater than design. Though you know, it misses the AXIS lock too...
You for sure can just loose the pivot screw a bit to flick it easy and fast. Just find the sweet spot if you can. I do not think BM consider ease of flicking as a must for this knife, so it might be a bit tricky. You could also wait and see if it improves as the knife breaks in.

I would adjust the pivot screw. You can't really harm the knife in any way by doing that, and chances are it will help. -Good luck.

ya benchmade axis lock knives for me have always needed mild adjusting of the pivot, plus you can "customize" the speed/ease of the blade deployment by tweaking the pivot.

Hi :)

Thanks for all the tips.

I adjust the pivot screw today youst very little adjustment, and it is perfekt. it flipps easy and fast.

No bladeplay at all.

When i got it it was exstremely tighten, had almost to open with 2 hands.

Now it is youst perfekt.
