NorCal you still around?

A jiujitsu professor of mine has a katana needing an edge, not a crazy one, put on it. Also need a fixed blade properly setup for an edge and finished. It is a knife I made and have no belt grinder to finish on.

Others I might economically engage?

Get in touch with Josh at Razor Edge Knives. He's a member of Bladeforums and he does amazing work. He's done some work for me and I couldn't be happier

Well for the Katana it's not sharpening really, it's polishing and it's a very specialized field with only a handful of people in the World who have been through the training to be able to do it correctly.

It takes Decades of training.

Not sure what the Katana is, if it's real as in from Japan etc. sending it so someone other than a Master will kill the value etc.
