Thanks Guys, a hawk drift I have, I am looking for a oval eye drift

Like Birddog said. Should be pretty easy out of a chunk of round bar. Never seen anything besides hawk drifts and sometimes there tuff to find.

I have to take a break from forging for a while, I stressed my arm so much I cant hold on to the darn hammer:mad: so it will only be stock removal until it heals up, last time it took 3 months:grumpy:

Well that explains why I cant find one, Thanks again:)

If you have an old hawk drift there pretty easy to shape using a grinder into the shape your after. I know the arm thing quite well, hope yours starts feeling better. Dropping down to smaller hammers sure has helped me. If it wasn't for Tylenole Arthridus and glucosamine I doubt very much if I could still do all the forging I do now.

I made mine out of piece of truck axle. I used a power hammer of course for the basic shape and then shaped it on the grinder. Sorry about your arm. Its easy to do and hard to get over. We will miss your hawks in the interim...MIKE

Thanks again all, I get tiered of making tools and OK so I was looking for an easy way out
