Hi, i'm new to these forums and also new to knives i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but it seemed like the best place.

Like I said i'm new to knives the only knife I own is the classic Swiss Army Knife but I was being stupid with it and bent the blade and it is so dull that you can't cut a piece of paper at all, and a sharpener would cost even more than the knife itself. I came here to see if someone could help me pick out a good 2nd pocket knife for me. For EDC. It would be good if it was under $40 preferably. Right now the Skyline is my favorite. It has a 3" blade, its about $35, American made, lightweight, pretty much everything I want, though I heard from some people online that it is "thin and delicate" from one person, and that its very small, which I don't know is true or not. I considered the Tenacious but it is made in China (even though I heard its good quality) but also I don't really like the leaf shape of the knife. Also the Ontario Rat 1, but it's kind of big and heavy but it's also made in Taiwan. If someone could point me to a good pocket knife I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

Don't worry so much about where most knives are made. Even knives made in China hold the same QC standards as their US made counterparts if bought from a good company. Many folks swear by the Tenacious. The Skyline is a great knife as well. I like CRKT knives as well, and you can pick up some great knives in your budget. Another SAK is always a good investment. Look around, and buy what appeals to you. All your choices so far are great knives.

For 35 the skyline is my choice . I like knives that don't scare people when I take it out in public . Nice and slim with a great spear point tip . G10 looks good . One of my tops Edc knife . The only one I would recommend over the skyline is the mini grip but that's like 60 .
