Need help please...

I just received a REKAT Sifu in a trade. It is the carbon fiber model with black blade. The problem is, when I close the blade, the edge comes into contact with the stand-off nearest the butt of the handle. It is leaving a small divot in the edge. Is there a way to correct this? I would contact REKAT, but they are no longer around. Any help is appreciated.

well my SIFU did the same thing, just BARELY nicked the standoff, wasnt ever a problem though, as far as working on one, maybe pat crawford could point ya in the right direction, he makes (made?) some customs w/a rolling lock,

i think all or most of them do this though,
