Need help posting pics

I tried to post some pics but it says the file size is too big.
What do I need to do? The images are saved on my desktop.

get into an editing program (i use photoshop, but that is overkill) and crop down the picture, bring down the size of the picture (height, length) and/or bring down the resolution. I was having problems the other day with it as well....I believe it needs to be right arounk 100K in size.....
