Trying to post pics of new Don Parrish knives, pics seem to be too big, not sure how to fix, please advise - also we have a Platinum membershipm can we post knives for sale in the KnifeMaker spot? helphelphelp!!!! thanks, Kristy

If the photos are too large you will need to get yourself some photo editing software such as Photoshop or Corel.

To be able to post knives for sale in the knifemakers' forums you will have to have a Knifemaker membership. You can start a thread on this forum and request that Spark change your membership for you. Maybe you can keep your Platinum membership and Don can get a Knifemaker membership? If the two of you are going to use just the one membership, then it would probably be best to get it changed.

I mentioned to her earlier the benefits of getting a Knifemakers membership.

I highly suggest getting a feel for the forum before jumping right into it without knowing how things work around here. Somethings are pretty complicated to get a grasp of at first.

As far as your pic problem....you need to resize your pics. If you use Internet Explorer than you can download the Image Resizer Power Toy from Microsoft.com. This tool will help you resize pics by right clicking on the pic and then selecting the size you wanna resize it too.

Generic advice: Look at the "save as" menu of whatever image program you're using and see if it has a "save for web" option.

Looks like you guys need help learning how to post the pics in the proper forums too. As a knifemaker, your for sale pics need to go in the Knifemaker's For Sale area, not the other areas.

I offered help yesterday in reply to your email, but never got a response.

My suggestion, take your time learn the lay of the land and follow up when someone offers a hand.
