For anyone who does it, how do you make the holes in webbing for eyelets, snaps, etc? The punch I have is barely making a dent. I tried heating it with a torch and melting my way through, but I get the obvious flashing. Any tips or products?

Take an appropriate sized nail put it in a set of vise grips and heat the nail tip with the torch and push through.I have done it many times and it seals the ends. You can also use a pencil type soldering iron with a round tip.Dave:)

I pulled out the soldering iron, but couldn't find a tip, so I screwed a target point from an arrow in there :). Went straight through with a very neat hole, and the arrow point just happened to be the exact size hole I needed. Thanks for tip. You're the man. I've been trying to figure this out all day.
