Need help rehandling a khukri?

So I have a HI Chiruwa Ang Khola, was a gift, the handle was in rough shape. Anyways can anyone here help me. I basically want to remove everything the, wood, pins, and the brass bolster and pommel, then grind the handle down to a nice round shape, then get some micarta handle scales, or possibly g-10.

Still not sure.

I just finished removing the pins, brass pommel and bolster, and the wood, I have sooo much respect for the kamis doing it all by hand. That laha is tough stuff, got the kuk down to bare handle, going to wrap it tomorrow and see how she looks.
