I have an old Coleman gas lantern that does not ignite the mantles. Maybe some one has more experience than me or can direct me to a site to help me.

I replaced the "generator", and the PUMP assembly. I have pressure because after pressurizing the "tank" I get gas flowing past the gland nut by the generator when loosened, and loosening the tank cap sprays gas and vapor out.

I can't remove the large tri pipe assembly at the top after removing the philips screw. Corroded maybe.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Did you blow out the manifold? Can you blow air through the manifold? Corrosion can get bad in there OR you might have a spider that took up residence and died after gumming the whole mess. Soak it in a penetrant for a while until it comes apart. A good cleaning should take care of it, the only intricate part in these things is the generator.
