you dont have to remind me that a new weekender is $25. i already know. some of us just have this weird desire to fix their own junk :D

so...
just bought a like new timex weekender of the bay for $8. it just needed a battery. popped the back cover off, replaced battery. while pressing the back cover back on, i shattered the crystal. i found instuctions on removing the movement but no instructions on removing the crystal.

anyone know how to do this? there doesnt seem to be anything to grab on to inside to unscrew or lift out.

any help is appreciated.

99.99% of the time crystals are simply pressed into place. The easiest way to remove them is to press from the inside after taking the movement out.

You will need a watch crystal press to put one back in.
