Need an honest person to let me know how to proceed. I inherited a big box of knives (of many kind) and a couple of short swords. I have zero knowledge on knives and need to know the best way to sell them. Many of them appear to be very high quality and fancy. I wouldn’t know where to begin. If there’s anybody out there who can point me in the right direction, please message me.

If you buy a gold or platinum membership here you can ask about the knives you have, ask what they are worth, and also sell them in the sales area.

If you post some pictures on what brand I can help you along with others on here.

As far as selling them there are a few routes you can go. Arizona custom knives will sell your knives for you and they take a 25% profit, you can sell them here in the exchange but you need to have at least a gold membership, and lastly you can sell them on Reddit knife_swap.

I know there are sales pages on Facebook too I just haven’t really used them.

good luck!

This is actually what I was going to recommend.

With a Gold Membership, you can post pics and ask the large knowledge base here about what you have and what it's worth.

Then you can list them in our exchange right here and sell each and every one of them to folks who are always looking for good quality sharp stuff.

The entire process wouldn't take long at all, and you'll immediately recoup the cost of your upgraded membership.

I myself am looking forward to helping you identify what you've got!

+1 on tapping into the brain trust here within the rules of the forum by becoming a gold member.

Good advice given already. Only thing I’d recommend is post a group shot, we can give you an idea if you are sitting on a goldmine or a box of junk. Without giving actual values.

+1 to this, and to the advice about getting a Gold membership once you have a rough idea whether or not it's worth it. Any knife knut here should be able to take one glance at a group photo and be able to tell you that much. :)
