Need help! ~ Tan Micarta Question.

Guys,

I have a friend who has been activated...prolly to go Iraq.

I was in the process of building him a knife...Now I am trying to get it done in 25 days for his mobilization.

I am looking for micarta in tan or desert tan...

Anybody got a good source?

I tried a search, but computer skills being what they are...I don't got time to do it!

Not being lazy...just ain't got the time to spend here!

All help appreciated...blocks are bext...next best...thick scale? This is for a "through tang" knife...

Anyplace that sells "natural canvas micarta" will be the same. The natural/tan stuff looks a little like burlap, although if you oil it you can make it looks orange-ish or almost sunburst like an old Gibson guitar! You may want to contact Halpern Titanium, too, who had tan G-10, which is pretty nice, too.
 
Ok...I use Natural from Alpha...it finishes to more of a reddish brown....

looking for more of an khaki color...any ideas there...I see Busse uses some...is it special run stuff only?

This may be my last knife...so I'd like it be be right.
