Recent acquisition at a recent knife show. Seller didn't know much about it, because it was picked up in an estate collection. Stamped GREGORY on the blade. Micarta (maroon) handles. Polished all over and including blade. Hollow grind with a convex edge. Darkened in the choil. Looks custom, but not familiar with the maker after extensive searching. Came with leather sheath. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I was led to his name too, but he has a different logo so I dismissed that possibility. Unless it’s an early piece and his logo changed…

Its an early knife, late 70s early 80s. These knives were marked GREGORY until about 1984 or so. After that he used his full name, MICHAEL GREGORY.

Thank you for the help. After looking at some of Michael’s work, I could see some resemblance.

The knife below is attributed to Michael Gregory. Unfortunately the pics aren't that great, but it says "GREGORY" stamped on the tang.

Here's a more recent Michael Gregory knife. The sheath is identical to the one above.
