Need help to remove coating from a Heft 6?

I just ordered a Heft 6 assault. I tried to get the satin finish with the black scales, but they couldn't do it. I've heard about using a chemical stripper to remove the coating, but I've never done it.

Can anybody give ideas on the best stripper to use, and how to do it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Pick up some klean-strip stripper can be found in the paint thinner area at Lowes if that won't take it off I don't know what would. Make sure to get some chemical resistant gloves and a metal container, I use a paint roller pan.
