Need help uploading Avatar

Hey,
I was wonderin if a kind soul can help out. I can't upload an avatar. Every time I download an image off the web (by right-clicking, save as..) it is saved as a bmp. file. When I try to upload this, it doesn't work. What can I do? Thanks in advance.

Open the picture and save as again to "My Pictures" in your my documents file. You will have the option as what type of file to save it as, select jpeg. Also, the picture program here on BF is not working at the moment. I would wait and try it again next week.

The avatar feature is not working right now. Spark is working on it.
