Has Schrade U.S.A. 502 SG on blade. scrimshaw handles with eagle on one side and acorns on other. Knife and sheaf are used , but in great shape.
2= Schrade folding knife. Has Schrade + u.s.a. B.C. on blade. 5" closed and 8 3/4" open.Scrimshaw handles , brass liners and nickle silver bolsters. It is stamped nr.4364 on brass bolster on right side .Old indian is engraved 1 side and lance,shield,axe and bear other side.Signed by F.Giorgianni. Knife and orig. sheaf are in super great shape. Any info about these 2 would be great help. Value, rearity and if they are worth saving. #2 knife has the nr. 4364 . I think this is like 4364 out of 5,000.
Thanks again for your help. John

BC = Bear claw
The 502 SC with an eagle is an unknown to me. The 502 is the 152 sharp finger. There was a 152 sc with an eagle in 1976 but it has a whale on the other. I dont see the eagle again on a 152. there is a 155 SC which is the same 152 (I dont know why they changed the number) in 77 with an eagle.

Might these be pine cones? If so, it is the corporate logo for Tharpe, the knife being a special factory order for that company. I don't know what company used acorns as a logo. The actual design of the eagle art might give a clue. The eagle motif was used countless times on other patterns and it was not uncommon for existing prior art to be offered to customers on a different pattern knife for special orders, but not usually before it was a production art if ever it was.
