Need help with a Case knife

Hi!

I gave my dad my first knife, which is a Case Sharktooth. Recently the knife is starting to wiggle (loose) horizontally and since the bolsters are solid brass, is there a way to retighten this knife?

Also, the handles aren't aligned anymore. The butt side of the handle shows that one side moved a bit backwards (uneven).

Is there a way to overhaul this thing without having to send it back to Case?
