Need help with an AL MAR

Hi. I'm a newbie. Just got back from a gun & knife aution with some dandy blades. Having a little trouble hitting the right website to get the info I want on what I bought. I'm pretty sure I did good on what I got, but maybe one of you can fill in the blanks for me.
1st one is a like new in box Al Mar AMKSRO 180 of 200 (box id). Fixed blade, fine edge, looks like the new SERE knife, but is mark on the blade 180 of 200 and had a serial #154CM. The sheath looks like the hard plastic tac style.
Is this a first production run knife and what else should I know about it?

I don't know about Al Mar knives, but I know that 154CM is most likely the type of steel used, not the serial number.

Yes that's it.
Now would it be more collectable being a first run? I paid $75 for it. Good deal? And Puukkmon, you're right about the type steel, thanks.

Sounds like an Al Mare SERE Operator. Apparently a first production run. $75 not too bad of a deal.
