Thanks for the info...I just can't find much about it anywhere else. I actually picked this knife up at a flea mkt. for $20.00. I liked it because I fish, and it was a fish-shaped knife. When I looked at it later, I noticed the name and marks on the blade. Just didn't know how old it was.
Great! .....I checked out that website you so quickly sent me, and wow, great information there...I was told the knife came from an estate sale and the gentleman who died had many items from Germany, old watches, knives, other fine gentleman items. The lady who sold it to me knew nothing about the knife, just that it was in with other things she purchased. Thanks again!
Thanks for your imput...I knew it was old, yet had no idea it was perhaps from the 1800's? It is in very good shape as you stated...came from an estate sale I was told from a man who was german and had lot's of things from Germany.
