Need help with Bk-11 sheath--knife rattles around.

Thank you in advance for any help or advice. I need help with my Bk-11's sheath, which is kydex (not a custom, but the sheath the knife is shipped with). The knife tends to rattle around (which is annoying), and doesn't seem to be gripped firmly by the sheath. The sheath is fine, other than that the knife rattles. Light pressure between the two top rivets seems to help, but the problem is applying pressure there. I'd like to find a quality nylon sheath,
one with a protective insert for it as well.

Custom Nylon is pretty hard to find.

You might take your question over to the Becker Forum, they would be the most in tune with your concerns... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=827

A number of guys have bought custom kydex from me, like this...

I make a version which still fits the TDI metal clip...

Thanks,

Could you make one just like this in black, make it fit the TDI belt clip and add a fire-steel loop? How much would that cost?

My sons BK11 sheath rattles. I tried to solve the problem with hot water like kydex-no go. My simple solution was to slide in two pieces of gorilla tape to the inside of the sheath. No more rattle.

Old thread but if you are still around could you explain exactly what you mean?

Edit: Fixed. I just used some electrically tape cut really thinly into strips and laid them down into the sheath.

Just get a new kydex sheath. You will be suprisingly happy. Its a sheath that is cmpletely functional and high quality and looks. Just look for a good maker.
