Need help with bow purchase.

That archery thread has got me interested. Looking for something thats reliable, inexpensive, sturdy and can be broken down for backpacking.

They've been making takedown bows for a long, long time. All I can suggest is haunt the bow shops and pawn shops, classifieds etc. and see what you turn up. Check out auctions on ebay and wherever else they talk bows on the internet. Good luck and tell us what you find.
