Need help with Delica Hap 40

Can someone post a close up on there delica Hap 40 blade lettering. I received one today want to make sure its real have doubts. Lettering looks laser or acid etched black on the blade . I thought spyderco did the letting was engraved into blade.
 
Mine looks laser etched as well. I think you're fine.

I'd be stunned and amazed that anyone is choosing this knife to knock off - laminated blade and all.
FWIW - Mine looks pretty much like the photo above.

My thoughts exactly... doubt we'll see any sanmai laminated blades in the fakes.
...but man, if they ever catch on and start doing knock-off counterfeit Sprints I will flip my lid.

Seems like getting the FRN to really pop like the real thing would almost be harder than the steel. Where the Chinese are almost as good at working with G10 as we are.
 
It really is sad they are counterfeiting knives been out of collecting for a bit stumbled across a video on YouTube about it now I'm paranoid especially on eBay. So sad

My response to this has been to stay off the bay for buying knives - just not worth the ultimate cost. I have bought a few there - a Rock lobster and something else that I can't remember,

Why take on all the angst of buying from an unknown? :confused:
