Need help with email address

Hi
I was told by zaph1 that for 2 days he was trying to email me thru bladeforums,
Hasjtds@optonline.net is not my email
My email is correctly entered in my profile as
jtds@optonline.net

Could someone help so this does not happen again.

I don't see how that could happen. The jtds email listed is the one that is on your profile.

Just noticed that your email option isn't even turned on.

I am sorry to be so ignorant, but I do not see any way to turn email on or off
Where is it, what part of settings?

"Settings" at the very top of the forum next to the logout button.
Once in settings you will see the various categories pertaining to your user profile.
The category youre looking for is this one, under email & notifications. You need to enable your email for others to be able to contact you.
