Hi knife nuts after doing some research I picked an ESEE4 over the over the BK16 just want to know what's the differents in performance or use in a drop point vs a clip point. Thank.

Aside from the handle material difference not a lot. Both 1095 steel and both good designs. I personally would go with the Becker but its personal taste.

The tip on a clip point is much finner and sharper and is suited to more fine work such as skinning. Drop point however is a much more stout, robust tip which is more suited to heavy duty work such as battoning logs. Clip points can't perform as well as drop points for heavy duty work as the tip will more than likely snap.

Not that many video reviews on the BK plus Im getting a good deal on the ESEE4 but don't Know witch one to get the clip pont or the drop point.

Thanks Aussie made my decision and the drop point it is. I'm going camping soon and needed a fixed knife.

I made the same decision you did. The Esee also comes with a sheath that is in every way better than the tweeners.
