Here are the photos. (Madknife, the way I did that was to copy/paste the IMG Code from photobucket.)

The opening page of the Schrade collectors' sub-forum says this: "Imperial Schrade Corp. - maker of Schrade Knives & Tools, including the famous Uncle Henry and Old Timer Brands - all made in the USA. Since Schrade closed their doors, this forum has become a site for the collectors to meet and share information."

Madknife, Your knife is a variation of a line of knives called the Handy Jack. There were 8 different patterns.
All had 3 1/4" blades. Clip points, sheepfoot, hawkbill, spear and spear with caplifter. Single and double blade. They also came with a small loop bead chain.
The knife you have is model #323. All stainless steel. The variation is the applied scales and bolsters.
They were manufactured in Bridgeport early to mid 50's. George Schrade was the founder of the George Schrade Knife Co., the Flylock Knife co., Schrade Cutlery Co., and the Press Button Knife Co. He also manufactured an automatic knife in Solingen Germany under his name prior to WWI.
He was my great grandfather.

William, Besides the pictures in you and your brothers book about George Sr are there others available for viewing? I'd love to be able to add them to my website.

Thank you, for all the information.

It is a very nice knife, and i am very happy to add it to my collection
Always seeing switches and push buttons on ebay wire jacks and the sort on there, but this is the first of this style i had seen.

DANG!! looks like i found a new style to try and collect.

thank you so very much for your time in answering my question

No subforum here madknife, but you're not going to find anyone more expert on the company than William ;) BTW, that's quite a minty example!

William, I really like that pattern, quite unique how he expanded what would normally be a shadow pattern washer into a piece resembling a bolster, very cool! Interesting too how there's no center scale betwen the springs.
